How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly from the app, or request deletion via email:
- Send an email to support@help-y.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your Helpy account
- We will process your request within 7 days
- You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted
What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Profile information - Your name, email, profile photo, and location
- Help requests - All requests you have posted
- Chat messages - All messages you have sent and received
- Matches - All help matches you were part of
- Ratings - All ratings you have given and received
- Push notification tokens - Your device push tokens
Data Retention
All data is deleted immediately upon processing your request. No data is retained after account deletion.
